Kathryn discovered a love for making pictures as a small child, self taught and driven by curiosity and passion, myth and metaphor has been an area of study and contemplation that she returns to throughout her creative journey. Founder and artistic director of Terra Diddle Collective, a performance group which combines mythic stories, large puppetry, music and dance and collaborator in LEAP a multi-media ritual theater platform; combining mystic poetry, visuals, dance and music with founder and performance artist, Kristi Williamson. 

Currently Kathryn exhibits black and white fine art photography, photo encaustics and oil paintings presenting her work in national and international shows. She is also continuing her work with Williamson on a new multi-media performance scheduled for fall 2017 called WAX WINGS. Kathryn lives in Camden, Maine and teaches photo encaustic workshops out of her studio and at Maine Media Workshops.
